Day 88: So Close...

Alright folks, here we go! Since today is a holiday (Martin Luther King Jr. Day), it won't be a normal post. Instead it will be half retrospective and half schedule for how the rest of the project will pan out. I'll start with the updates and move to the schedule at the end.

I have been having a blast but I am definitely ready for this project to be over. Doing a post every day has been difficult on occasion, but honestly I think it was well worth it. Otherwise I would be bottling up all my Taylor Swift opinions with no outlet, which would honestly be way worse. It's pretty crazy that w're already so close to the end, it really hasn't felt like all that long. It's been nearly three full months! That is such a long time to listen to just Taylor Swift! I've never cracked and listened to something else, and I feel confident that I can make it the remaining 12 days incident free.

I've been getting slightly more familiar with the Taylor Swift fanbase's general perception of her music. I think in general I agree with lots that "the community" has agreed upon, with some big notable differences. The specifics of these differences aren't for today though! Which makes now a great time to transition to what the rest of our time together will look like.

I've talked in some sort of depth about most of Taylor Swift's music. Unfortunately there are over 30 songs I haven't mentioned more than in passing so I won't be able to cover them all in depth with our remaining time. There are twelve days remaining, but I will only be talking about specific songs in two of them. To make up for this, I'll be spending three days talking just about songs I didn't have a chance to get to. I still won't be able to go into as much depth as I wish I could, but I think it's still worthwhile! It will also give me a chance to discuss content exclusive to the deluxe albums, which typically aren't as conducive to normal posts as other songs.

Then the fun will really begin. I've assembled a complete ranking of Taylor Swift's music from her studio albums and in about a week I will start to unveil it to all of you! I'm excited to see what you will think, I've been working on it for about a month and I feel pretty good about all of the song placements, but I'm sure there will be some major objections from all of you.

After I'm done ranking the songs, I will move on to albums as a whole. I don't have a clear one through six in quality, rather I'll be doing a more holistic review of their strengths and weaknesses, as well as revealing my personal favorites in various regards and overall. Then the blog will be completely done, just like this post.
